3) The dollar figures in red behind pledged amounts. Except for the top 4
lines, they are additional donation amounts above and beyond the pledged
amount. Don't you love those great supporters!
Are you proud that you have dug so deeply into your pockets to help
our community win equal opportunity? :-) Did you anticipate that your stepping up for the community would inspire so many others to join you? :-)
Are we completely content? Hopefully not. We still face glass ceilings in work places. Our children still face ugly discrimination in college admissions.
Just remember that AIPAC spends about $70 to $80 million annually, and it is but one of the "big 3" Jewish organizations serving the needs of the Jewish community.
We've come a long way, thanks to you. But we have a long, long way to go!
