I'm delighted to have very positive news to report to you. I also hope that

you will exercise enlightened self-interest to donate to those who are hungry.

(1) A very strong press release by V.P. Biden on "Incidents of Racism Against

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders"

"...it's clear that we need a president who demonstrates the leadership to

address every aspect of this pandemic - including the spate of racist incidents targeting AsAms and Pacific Islanders - with urgency and seriousness."

(2) A 1':21" Video of NY Mayor Bill de Blasio's Speech, vowing to punish hate

crime.

He also thanked AsAms working in the front line fighting against COVID-19 &/or

helping to distribute food to the needy, including the 16 million newly

unemployed.

(3) The doubling of COVID-19 related deaths rate in the U.S. has increased from

3 days to 5 days. Click here to see it for yourself. It is very positive news. That

is, the cumulative deaths in the US may still increase but the number of daily

deaths is not likely to increase much any more.

(4) The NY Times reported:

Most New York Coronavirus Cases Came From Europe, Genomes Show. The
above tells us that virus knows no borders. The whole world is being infeicted by COVID-19 and we must fight it together as one people. It is humanity against the virus.

(5) DONATE! Helping Others Is Often the BEST Way To Help Ourselves.

A NY Times article reports: 'Never Seen Anything Like It': Cars Line Up for

Miles at Food Banks'.

"... Millions are flooding a charitable system that was never intended to handle a nationwide crisis...."

Should we help? YES! Put ourselves in the position of the 16 million newly unemployed persons. Will we feel "food insecure" and also line up at the food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, .., etc. Indeed, there could be real hunger in many families. Feeding America is one of the largest of such operations.

Will the Treasurer of Feeding America, who may receive hundreds to thousands of such donations, be curious? Perhaps. Will he/she make a newsworthy inquiry? I don't know. I do know that we should donate to help our fellow Americans out. :-)
