Want Political Clout?

Then follow 80-20's leadership & cast a bloc vote in a presidential primary election in CA in the future!   Using that clout, we'll win eqaul
opportunity.

80-20 has advocated the above numerous times.  However, the strategy requires such deep understanding of politics that most AsAm voters are understandably not accepting it yet.   Are we disappointed? NO, we persist.   Please read the following to be SHOCKED by how powerful a bloc vote is in the REAL WORLD of the 2020 Election.

Biden would not be our President without the Black bloc vote

(A) REAL world election data of 2020 is used:

     i) The following table is provided by the CNN Exit Poll. It shows that African American community had 13% vote share and voted 9 to 1 for Biden. We use those 2 statistics in preparing section (B) shown below:\
ii) Click here to verify the % of black population in the 50 states, used in (B).
iii) Click here to verify the winning margin of Biden in each state, used in (B).

(B) Biden Would Have Lost the Electoral College Vote Without the Black Vote:
Total number of Electoral College Vote: 79 votes
Biden’s final electoral vote is 306.  (306 -79) = 227 which is less than 270.  Therefore Biden would have lost the 2020 election, if he didn’t have the blacks voting for him at 90% to 10%.  That is political clout!

Can AsAms Manage A Similar Amount of Political Clout?

Not the identical amount. However, we can manage a whole lot more political clout, if we shall "cast a bloc vote in a presidential primary election in CA in the future!"

Why in CA? In CA, AsAms have the highest % of vote share - 8%.

Why in a primary? Because only 1/2 to 1/3 of voters vote in a primary. If
all AsAm voters turn out, then our vote share jumps by a factor of 2 to 3,
giving us a vote share of 16% to 24%. With that kind of vote share, if we
cast a bloc vote, then we can control which presidential candidate will win
the CA presidential primary - that will be ample political clout to win equal opportunity for all AsAms, adults and children.

PS: In last week's e-newsletter, I forgot to state that 80-20 used to hire an accountant to do our IRS filing. Later, 80-20 was fortunate enough to get an AsAm accountant to volunteer to do that job. In recent years, our Treasurer, Wei-jing Zhu, has handled that time-consuming job.
