More Effectiveness: Improving justice for our community
Since Woo's powerful letter to A.G. Garland which asked the A.G. to "open your eyes", the Justice Dept. has "in the interest of Justice" dismissed 10 cases against Chinese scientists. The latest dismissal of 4 cases occurred on July 23. DOJ acknowledged having received Woo's letter on July 6.
More Effectiveness: Helping Prof. Anming Hu
At the request of 80-20 EF President S. B. Woo, U.S. Sen. Chris Coons wrote a judicious and yet powerful letter to Attorney General Garland on Aug. 10, 2021 regarding Prof. Hu's case. Sen. Coons requested "not to share this letter publicly."
I naturally still shared this letter with Prof. Hu and his attorney. When the ban is lifted, I shall share its contents with you. Sen. Coons is a member of many powerful Senate committees, including Appropriations, Foreign Relations, and the Judiciary. Few senators achieve so many powerful committee assignments.
Sen. Coons, together with Former Governor of DE, Jack Markell (2009 - 17) and former Lt. Governor of DE Matt Denn (2009 - 15) all worked for me in my 1988 US senate campaign*. Although I lost the general election to a 3-term incumbent US senator Bill Roth, I am very proud to be the only U.S. Senate candidate in 1988 whose campaign team focused on the U.S.'s need to maintain its manufacturing industries.

For the past 23 years, 80-20 operated with 1 full-time staff*** only. Imagine how much bigger and better its service will be with 4 full-time staff.
