Great News! The Anti-Asian Hate Crime is a federal law! However, you MUST make sure that your state governments cooperate with this federal law to make it truly effective in protecting YOU. Why? There are 800,000 state & local police. In contrast, there are only 35,000 FBI agents. The ratio is 23 to 1.
If you ignore this CALL TO ACTION, it'll be at your own PERIL! Check 80-20's track record regarding its political sensitivity, awareness, knowhow and integrity!
80-20 believes that this law is NOT entirely motivated by a desire to prevent Covid-19 hate crimes. The pandemic is likely near its end. In addition, there were NOT that many hate crimes against AsAms over the past 12 months, although 1 would be too many - 3800 according to the government. To put this number in perspective, there are statistically 250 "aggravated assaults" per 100,000 persons per year in America. Assuming an Asian population of 20 million, there could be 250 X 200 = 50,000 aggravated assaults per year involving Asians in America.
Listen up! We believe this law is COVERTLY pushed by the Biden Administration to protect AsAms when and if the US and China are in big conflicts. At that time, the perpetrators of hate crimes will be mostly Whites, while the Covid-19 hate crimes perpetrators were mostly blacks. In a war fever, many politicians could be behind the hate against us. WE WILL NEED THIS LAW TO PROTECT US.
