So many asked me who was
the generous donor who gave $240,000 to SELF. So I begged the donor
to let her name be known. She finally agreed.
She
is Alice S. Huang. She was a
professor of microbiology and virology at Harvard and later at
California Institute of Technology. He was a Board member of 80-20
PAC for many years, as well as that of many big corporations and foundations.
She was the President & Chairperson of AAAS, American
Association for the Advancement of Science, which is world's largest
general scientific society. Her spouse is Dr. David Baltimore, a Nobel
Laureate in Physiology or Medicine. Alice pilots her own airplane.
